When treating skin for acne, wash the affected area with warm water to open the pores, then massage with castor oil and leave on over night. Wash face the next morning with cold water. This process of using castor oil on acne penetrates the skins layers and fights off acne-causing bacteria.
2. Arthritis and Joint Pain
This is a great remedy for pain caused by arthritis. It’s anti-inflammatory properties make it ideal to use as a topical massage oil, rubbing generously over areas of sore or inflamed joints and muscles. The ideal process for doing so is first, taking a cloth dipped in castor oil and wrap it around the affected area, using plastic wrap. Then, place heating pad on top for approximately one hour. Repeat this process at least twice a week for optimal results.

Users claim that castor oil is great for strengthening the immune system. It increases the count of white blood cells in the system, therefore increasing the body’s ability to fight off infections. In other words, castor oil energizes the body’s natural defense mechanism.
